This afternoon, President Trump was injured by a gunshot at a campaign rally in Butler County, Pennsylvania.
Shortly after the shots were fired, the male shooter was killed by a Secret Service counter-sniper team.
Early reports say that one male spectator was killed and at least two other spectators were hit and seriously injured.
As Trump was rushed off the stage by Secret Service personnel with his right ear bleeding, he raised his fist and shouted to the crowd to indicate that he was ok. He was driven away from the scene in his armored limousine to a location where he was given medical treatment.
President Trump has released a statement on Truth social media, describing the moment he was shot in the ear and saying that he is not seriously wounded.
